A finish built to last

Powder coating gives metal a tough, even coat that outlasts wet paint. It resists chipping, fading, rust and UV — which matters in the Queensland sun and coastal air. We coat steel, aluminium and most metals: fencing, gates, balustrades, wheels, machinery parts, furniture and fabricated steel. Trade and retail both welcome.

View Our Work

One of the Largest Powder Coating Ovens on the Sunshine Coast

Our oven is 7.3m long, 2.1m wide and 1.8m high — big enough to take long sections, large gates, full balustrade runs and oversized fabrication in one piece. That means fewer joins, no colour mismatch across sections, and a cleaner result on big jobs. If you've been told something is too long to coat elsewhere, talk to us first.

Our Process

How we coat your work

01

Surface Prep

Every job starts with proper prep. We sandblast or clean back to bare metal so the coating has something to grip.

02

Pretreatment

Cleaned and treated so the coat bonds correctly and resists rust from underneath.

03

Coating

Powder applied evenly in your chosen colour and finish.

04

Curing

Baked in our oven so the coat hardens into a tough, lasting finish.

Powder Coating FAQs

Answers to the questions we get asked most about powder coating, finishes and turnaround.

Powder coating is a dry finishing process where a fine powder is electrostatically applied to metal and then cured in an oven, where it melts and hardens into a tough, even coat. With no solvents and a thicker film than wet paint, it gives a far more durable finish.

Most metals — steel, aluminium and alloys. Common items include fencing, gates, balustrades, wheels, furniture, machinery parts and fabricated steel. The item needs to withstand the curing oven, so heat-sensitive materials aren’t suitable.

Yes. We powder coat mild steel, fabricated steel and a wide range of industrial components after appropriate surface preparation.

Yes. Aluminium coats very well and is common for architectural work such as window frames, balustrades and screens. With correct pretreatment it gives a durable, corrosion-resistant finish that suits coastal conditions.

With proper surface preparation, a powder coated finish lasts many years — commonly well over a decade. Coastal salt air and constant UV can shorten that, which is why the right preparation and coating system matter for items kept outdoors.

In most cases, yes. We sandblast or clean items back to bare metal first to create the right surface profile, so the coating bonds properly and lasts. Blasting, preparation and coating are all done in-house.

We return estimates within 24 hours, and most jobs are turned around in a few working days. Larger or bulk runs can take longer — we’ll give you a realistic timeframe with your estimate.
